【摘要】:Thispracticeissuitableforthedeterminationofextractablesubstancesthatmaybefoundinmaterialsusedinsystemsorcomponentsrequiringahighlevelofcleanliness,suchasoxygensystems.Softgoods,suchassealsandvalveseats,maybetestedasreceived.Glovesandwipes,orsamplesthereof,tobeusedincleaningoperationsmaybeevaluatedpriortousetoensurethattheproposedextractingagentdoesnotextractordepositchemicals,orboth,onthesurfacetobecleaned.Wipesorothercleaningequipmentmaybetestedafterusetodeterminetheamountofcontaminantremovedfromasurface.Note18212;Theamountofmaterialextractedmaybedependentuponthefrequencyandpowerdensityoftheultrasonicunit.Theextractionefficiencyhasbeenshowntovarywiththefrequencyandpowerdensityoftheultrasonicunit.Theunit,therefore,mustbecarefullyevaluatedtooptimizetheextractionconditions.1.1Thispracticemaybeusedtoextractnonvolatileandsemivolatileresiduesfrommaterialssuchasnewandusedgloves,newandusedwipes,componentsoftgoods,andsoforth.Whenusedwithproposedcleaningmaterials(wipes,gloves,andsoforth),thispracticemaybeusedtodeterminethepotentialoftheproposedsolventorotherfluidstoextractcontaminants(plasticizers,residualdetergents,brighteners,andsoforth.)anddepositthemonthesurfacebeingcleaned.1.2Thispracticeisnotsuitablefortheevaluationofparticulatecontamination.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
