【摘要】:ThissubsectionofBS6920describesamethoddesignedtoassesstheabilityofaproducttoimpartadiscernibleodourand/orflavourtowaterintendedforhumanconsumption.Themethodisapplicabletoalltypesofnon-metallicproductusedincontactwithdrinkingwater.Itisnotapplicablefortestingflexiblehoses(withorwithoutreinforcement)intheirfinalform(i.e.beforeassembly)orflexiblehoses(withorwithoutreinforcement)intendedforuseinequipmentusedforfoodanddrinkpreparation.NOTE1Proceduresfortestingodoursandflavoursimpartedtowaterbyflexiblehoses(withorwithoutreinforcement)intheirfinalform(i.e.beforeassembly)andflexiblehoses(withorwithoutreinforcement)intendedforuseinequipmentusedforfoodanddrinkpreparationaregiveninBS6920-2.2.2andBS6920-2.2.3respectively.NOTE2UndertherequirementsoftheWaterSupply(WaterQuality)Regulations(Regulation25)andtheWaterSupply(WaterFittings)Regulations(Clause2ofSchedule2),theNationalRegulatormayspecifyadditionalprovisionsinsomecasesandwillassessthesignificanceoftheresultsobtained.
