【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardprovidesguidanceonthefeaturestoberecordedwhencharacterisingandassessingthehydromorphologyofrivers.Itisbasedonmethodsdeveloped,tested,andcomparedinEurope.Itsmainaimistoimprovethecomparabilityofhydromorphologicalsurveymethods,dataprocessing,interpretationandpresentationofresults.WhilstithasparticularimportanceinrelationtothereportingrequirementsoftheWFD,italsohasconsiderablywiderscopeforotherapplications.Althoughhydromorphologyisdependentonhydrologyandunderlyinggeology,thisstandardisfocusedonthestructuralfeaturesofriversandonrivercontinuity.Inaddition,whilstrecognisingtheimportantinfluenceofhydromorphologyonplantandanimalecologyand,conversely,theinfluenceofplantsandanimalsonhydromorphology,noattemptismadetoprovideguidanceinthisarea.
